Project Description: We often see overflowing trash bins filled with trash, especially in places like malls, schools, or parks making these areas dirty. People feel weird when throwing trash in these dirty places and sometimes, people don’t want to throw trash in these trash bins and leaving trash on the floor instead, making areas dirtier.
This project helps to solve these problems by telling you if the trash bin is empty, half full, or completely full using an ultrasonic sensor. When the trash bin is full, it will tell you by using a buzzer to play a sound so it can be emptied quickly. It can also open automatically if you want to put trash so you don’t have to touch the trash bin.
It has other features in the control panel such as testing the buzzer, resetting the ultrasonic sensor, and a percentage counter to tell you how full the trash bin is so you can always keep track on how full the bin is.
Using this project, keeping spaces clean becomes much easier and more efficient saving time and effort. You don’t need to chec regularly to know if it is full anymore while keeping these areas neat and tidy, making waste management less of a hass
