Samriddhi Rajesh Kori and Swara Bhavi, aged 18 from Bangalore, India have revolutionized the ways how drones were being used till date, by adding multiple interesting features to their award winning multi-functional drone project, the ‘Drone Acharya’, named after the one of the greatest sage ever lived, Shri Guru Dronacharya. Using AI, robotics, and coding they have programmed and employed these flying marvels in different domains like agriculture, defence, fire emergency, and etc.
Samriddhi’s consecutive victory at previous editions of Codeavour with her projects SMILE (2022), SAKI (20210, and RHETS (2020) showcases her talent and reflects her dedication and relentless pursuit of innovation. Continuing the legacy, she secured the second runner-up position internationally with her project Drone Acharya at Codeavour 5.0 International.

Drone Acharya project showcases a groundbreaking multi-purpose drone technology that is set to revolutionize various industries with its advanced features and capabilities. For military applications, their drone offers unparalleled precision by integrating facial recognition with precision shooting, enhancing operational efficiency. It also logs victim locations and sends automated Microsoft Excel updates based on the targets it dealt with along with their exact location coordinates.
In the realm of wildlife management, the drone uses similar technology to humanely address the issue of stray animals by shooting tranquilizer-infused darts. In agriculture, it optimizes water usage by selectively watering green areas and sowing seeds in barren land, leveraging AI for improved efficiency of selectively identifying the both.
Drone Acharya’s fishing drone features automated fish detection and retrieval systems, streamlining fishing operations significantly. For firefighting, the drone detects fires on specific floors, delivers water to affected areas, and sends automated alerts, thus improving response times and reducing property damage.
The drone also excels in ensuring swimmer safety by detecting when a person is drowning, going to their location, and bringing them back to safety. Additionally, it is adept at delivering goods and medications, performing cloud seeding for weather modification, conducting autonomous aerial filmmaking, and executing regionally deployed autonomous flights.
