AI Project: Vigilant Visor
Reyaansh’s groundbreaking project, Vigilant Visor, is an AI and ML-based system designed to ensure compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements. The primary goal of Vigilant Visor is to enhance workplace safety and significantly reduce the number of injuries and hazards faced by workers in various industries.
It features a QR code-based worker monitoring system that tracks the real-time location of workers. Additionally, it includes an IoT module that detects environmental hazards and alerts workers, ensuring their safety in hazardous conditions.
The IoT module is equipped with various sensors:
- Moisture Sensor: Detects high moisture levels and sends alerts.
- Unwanted Gas Sensor: Identifies the presence of harmful gases and sends immediate alerts.
- Fire Hazard Sensor: Recognizes fire hazards and promptly alerts workers, preventing potential disasters.
The Safety PPE checking module features a QR code scanner that ensures that workers are wearing the necessary PPE kit and safety helmet by scanning the QR codes present on the equipment.
