Automatic medication dispenser for the Elderly.

Source and Importance
Currently, Thailand is gradually transitioning into an aging society, leading to a continuous increase in the elderly population.Elderly people often need to take multiple medications regularly, but several issues arise, such as: Forgetting to take medications Taking the wrong dosage or at the wrong time Over-reliance on caregivers This system was developed to assist elderly individuals in taking their medications correctly and on time.

Objective
To create a medication dispenser for the elderly that works by scanning their face, providing reminders for on-time medication intake, and reducing the risks associated with forgetting or taking the wrong medication

Working Principle.
The medication dispenser for the elderly operates automatically by scanning their face through a reminder system and dispensing the medication according to the scheduled time. The working principles are as follows : Set medication time The set time is recorded in the system’s memory.Notify the elderly when it’s time to take medication. The system will send a reminder signal via sound, light, or vibration. Scan the face to dispense medication to the correct person. The elderly person stands in front of the scanner to receive medication corresponding to the person’s record. Confirm medication intake An infrared sensor detects whether the medication has been taken. If not, it will send another reminder within 10 minutes. In case of a medical emergency during the day, such as a headache, you can receive medicine by making a hand gesture. If you raise your hand with five fingers extended, the medicine will drop down for you to take.

DYSLEXILINK

DYSLEXILINK is a free AI Dyslexia Assistant with a built in self-assessment and artificial learning and assistant method to early diagnose dyslexic symptoms anywhere and whenever through online recourses.

Dyslexia is a common learning disadvantage that affects the brain and mentality of a person. It limits a dyslexic person’s ability to read, speak, and see words and patterns correctly. Sometimes, words may move, disappear, or ripple in their brains. Though dyslexia is a common disadvantage, not much people are aware of this knowledge – hence, dyslexic people are often called stupid, dumb, broken, and so on.

Even with the existence of dyslexia assessments, facilities, and therapists, not all people have the privilege or access to this type of stuff, making countries with under developing state unable to treat dyslexia – the price to get diagnosed is also very hefty and not all people can afford this. Which is why many dyslexic people today are still diagnosed and are living their lives thinking they are stupid – unaware of their current situation.

However, this innovation “DYSLEXILINK” made by Mikhayla Leandra Krisbayu, helps and assists people unaware of their dyslexic symptoms to understand their situation being and for others to have the knowledge on dyslexic people. DYSLEXILINK provides speech – or audio and visual learning tools as well as bots to assist a person’s journey overcoming dyslexia. With DYSLEXILINK, people with dyslexia won’t feel to bad about themselves and will rely on this site to help them overcome the obstacles in being dyslexic.

Intelligent Stick

Intelligent Stick is an innovative assistive device designed to help visually impaired individuals navigate their surroundings safely and independently. The device is equipped with an ultrasonic sensor to detect obstacles ahead and a water level sensor to identify puddles or wet surfaces. When an obstacle or water is detected, the Arduino Nano processes the data and activates a buzzer, providing an immediate audio alert to the user.

Unlike traditional white canes that rely solely on physical contact, Intelligent Stick offers an early warning system, allowing users to react before encountering obstacles or wet surfaces. The lightweight and portable design makes it easy to use, while its low-cost components ensure affordability and accessibility for those in need.

This project significantly enhances mobility, safety, and confidence for individuals with visual impairments. By integrating simple yet effective sensor-based technology, Intelligent Stick provides a practical and user-friendly solution for navigating both indoor and outdoor environments.

Aligned with the Good Health and Wellbeing theme, this innovation aims to improve the quality of life and independence of visually impaired individuals. With further development, the Intelligent Stick can be enhanced with additional features such as haptic feedback, GPS navigation, or voice assistance, making it an even more powerful tool for inclusive mobility.

Detext: Real-Time Speech Recognition for the Deaf

Detext is an innovative, wearable device designed to assist deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals in real-time conversations. Built as a bracelet with a 16×2 LCD display and powered by an Arduino Nano, Detext provides an affordable and compact solution for overcoming communication barriers in public interactions.

Unlike traditional speech-to-text apps that require smartphones and manual operation, Detext offers a hands-free experience, allowing users to receive live transcriptions directly on their wrist. One of its key features is the intelligent punctuation system—it automatically adds question marks at the end of sentences containin”what, when, who, where, and how” since many speech recognition systems struggle to detect questions accurately.

Designed with accessibility and affordability in mind, Detext is a budget-friendly alternative to existing assistive technologies, making it more accessible to individuals with financial constraints. Its lightweight and ergonomic design ensures ease of use and comfort, while its low power consumption enhances battery efficiency (future versions may include battery integration).

While still in the prototype stage, Detext has the potential to evolve further with enhancements such as wireless connectivity, improved display options, and multi-language support. With its simplicity, effectiveness, and affordability, Detext aims to empower the deaf community by making everyday conversations more seamless and inclusive.

Car Cam

A camera that detects various objects on the road that can damage or get hurt due to being crashed . This camera is using the latest Ai technology to determine if the road is empty or not. this camera is very smart and can even detects the speed of the car to beging analyzing the things it captures.
The camera is incredibly smart and can differentiate between human or animal on the road. This simple camera can provide safety for walkers, animals, and the driver. This camera has a high alert system where if it detects a human it will warn the driver that there is a human Infront. The camera can detect anything within a 10 meter radius making it have time for driver to stop. The reason why I made it is because people and animals get severely injured or hurt and even lost their lives because of car crashes. This camera will increase the awareness of the road and can help reduce car crashes. This project is to inspire people to start developing and produce products for safety. If I had more time I could add an object detection which can also detect hazards that can harm the driver such as rocks, plastic bags, and nails. This will insure maximum safety for the driver. This project can hopefully help some people that are drivers.
