Smart Water FIlteration System

Our project prevents water wastage unlike any other water filtration system. Our project filters the water and gets it out for usage and then after usage it will get back to be filtered again –a closed loop. It also prevents any water leakage since we have an IR sensor that wouldn’t make the system work except if it detects my hand and we also have an AI system that detects any cracks in the system so the system would stop, and no water leakage would happen.
Our system also neutralizes factory acid present in wastewater by using calcite powder which can neutralize different acids including carbonic acid, acetic acid, and hydrochloric acid, which are commonly used in factories.
We have also added a harmful insect detection system using the AI provided by PictoBlox. This system eradicates the possibility of water contamination through vectors or harm to people or animals through water-bugs.

BnRUST – Balance n Reduce Your Screen Time

A WHO (World Health Organisation) report says “school children of the age of 6 to 14 across the world, the screen time is more than two hours”. It says excessive screen time has replaced healthy behaviours and habits such as physical activities, proper sleep and social behaviour. The addictive screen Time behaviour poses other health problems like eye strain, poor vision, neck pain, headaches, attention problem and increased anxiety. Lack of exercise leads to obesity too.

“BnRUST” Balance and Reduce your screen Time

It uses the coding platform PICTOBLOX and I have used Blockcoding to code. For a balanced use of technology the content which is watched should be useful like that which can improve our knowledge and build good character as well. But even though the content is good it should not be excessive as it will lead to health risks. Therefore, the robot character “Issac” is the TV Assistant who guides us through”. My project gives suggestion day wise what good contents can be watched. I have categorized the first three days to watch something educational like peekaboo kidz where children learn about the science behind all that works. The project suggests the next three days also educational but light like peppa pig and other stories which enhances the linguistic and creative abilities. As the child starts watching the content a timer runs for 30 minutes. At the end of the timer the TV Assistant Issac would ask to turn off the TV…….JUST LIKE A MOTHER DOES. I have used AI text to speech extensions to enable the voices. The click buttons helps easy navigation.

So, balance is the keyword and to balance life with technology “BnRUST” is the word.

Green Planet

green planet: هو حل مبتكر للزراعة الذكية يهدف إلى تحويل أسطح المباني في المدن الجديدة إلى مزارع منتجة وصديقة للبيئة. يعتمد المشروع على تقنيات إنترنت الأشياء (IoT) من أجل زراعة فعّالة وآلية للخضروات والأعشاب، مما يعزز الاستدامة البيئية والاقتصادية.
يستخدم النظام وحدة التحكم ESP32 المتصلة بعدد من الحساسات لمراقبة حالة التربة والبيئة، ويتم إرسال البيانات إلى منصة Adafruit IO لمتابعة النظام والتحكم فيه عن بُعد. كما يتكامل النظام مع منصة OpenWeatherMap للحصول على بيانات الطقس، مما يتيح التعديل التلقائي لعمليات الري وتوفير المياه بنسبة تصل إلى 40%.
يحتوي المشروع على روبوت مزود بكاميرا ESP32-CAM يتم التحكم فيه عن بُعد، حيث يقوم بالتقاط صور للنباتات تُرسل إلى برنامج ذكاء اصطناعي مخصص للكشف عن الأمراض النباتية واقتراح العلاج المناسب. كما يشمل النظام على نظام لإعادة تدوير المياه المستخدمة ونظام طاقة شمسية لتغذية المزرعة بالطاقة النظيفة.
يتميز المشروع بتكلفته المنخفضة وقابليته للتوسع، ويدعم إنتاج الغذاء في المدن، وتحسين جودة الهواء، وتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة مثل الحد من الجوع، المدن المستدامة، والعمل المناخي.

WildGuard: A Conservation Initiative for Animal Protection and Awareness

WildGuard is a student-led initiative that combines artificial intelligence, animation, and education to protect wildlife and raise conservation awareness. It addresses pressing issues like habitat destruction, road accidents involving animals, and environmental pollution. The solution has two key components:

Animated Storytelling that emotionally engages viewers and educates them about threats faced by wildlife.

AI-Powered Animal Crossing Sign, developed using Teachable Machine and PictoBlox, which detects animals via webcam and alerts drivers in real time with voice and visual warnings.

The project supports SDG 14 (Life Below Water), SDG 15 (Life on Land), and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure). It’s fully software-based, cost-effective, and inclusive, promoting empathy and safety for both animals and humans. Scalable for use near forests, coasts, or in schools, WildGuard showcases how young minds can innovate for a kinder, sustainable planet.

Smart Medical Soultions

Smart Medical Solutions is an innovative healthcare ecosystem designed by young entrepreneurs to address critical medical challenges through accessible technology. Our integrated platform combines AI diagnostics, smart hospital automation, and intelligent medical devices to enhance patient care while reducing costs and human error.
At the core of our solution is an AI Doctor that analyzes brain scans using machine learning and communicates through natural language processing. Our Smart Hospital system features automated entry, temperature monitoring, intelligent lighting, and safety alerts. We’ve also developed a Heart Rate Monitoring Glove and our innovative Smart IV Infusion Device that precisely controls fluid delivery.
These interconnected solutions target healthcare facilities in underserved communities, addressing multiple Sustainable Development Goals including good health, innovation, and reduced inequalities. SafeMask Attendance

SafeMask Attendance is an AI-powered, contactless attendance system developed by Team SafeSmart Squad from Apple International Community School, Dubai. Designed to promote hygiene and smart infrastructure, it simultaneously detects face mask compliance and marks attendance using a machine learning model trained in PictoBlox. This eliminates the need for manual registers, fingerprint scanners, or shared devices—making the process fast, safe, and fully touch-free.

To enhance functionality, we introduced Smart Data Logging, which records attendance with date and time stamps in an Excel sheet. A unique feature allows data download via a single Space Bar press—ensuring hygiene and ease of use. Inspired by the challenges faced during the pandemic, our project reflects care, innovation, and readiness for the future.

Aligned with SDG Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), SafeMask Attendance reimagines everyday systems using AI, ML, and human-centered design to build safer, smarter spaces in schools, offices, and beyond.

My Emo Buddy is an innovative program designed to assist special needs students in expressing their emotions. By detecting facial expressions, the program identifies whether a student is feeling happy, sad, or experiencing other emotions. It then engages the student in a conversation to understand the reasons behind their feelings and offers personalized suggestions to help them manage their emotions effectively.
