DYSLEXILINK is a free AI Dyslexia Assistant with a built in self-assessment and artificial learning and assistant method to early diagnose dyslexic symptoms anywhere and whenever through online recourses.
Dyslexia is a common learning disadvantage that affects the brain and mentality of a person. It limits a dyslexic person’s ability to read, speak, and see words and patterns correctly. Sometimes, words may move, disappear, or ripple in their brains. Though dyslexia is a common disadvantage, not much people are aware of this knowledge – hence, dyslexic people are often called stupid, dumb, broken, and so on.
Even with the existence of dyslexia assessments, facilities, and therapists, not all people have the privilege or access to this type of stuff, making countries with under developing state unable to treat dyslexia – the price to get diagnosed is also very hefty and not all people can afford this. Which is why many dyslexic people today are still diagnosed and are living their lives thinking they are stupid – unaware of their current situation.
However, this innovation “DYSLEXILINK” made by Mikhayla Leandra Krisbayu, helps and assists people unaware of their dyslexic symptoms to understand their situation being and for others to have the knowledge on dyslexic people. DYSLEXILINK provides speech – or audio and visual learning tools as well as bots to assist a person’s journey overcoming dyslexia. With DYSLEXILINK, people with dyslexia won’t feel to bad about themselves and will rely on this site to help them overcome the obstacles in being dyslexic.
Fish People
This project was made to raise awareness on illegal fishing. There are many types of fish in the sea, and many of them are commonly fished for food, unfortunately there are some rare species of fish that have become endangered. Fish people project aims to educate people on which type of fish are safe to fish and which fish must be conserved. This project uses AI hand recognition to make the players decide on which fish to catch and which fish to let go. The players can either make a thumbs down or an oke sign with their hands to decide which fish to catch. The project also tells you more about each species of fish so that the players know more about why some fish are endangered or why some fish are okay to be caught. If you make the wrong decision, the game will be over and you have to restart from the beginning. This project encourages the player to make the right decision and memorize which fish are endangered and which are invasive or okay to catch. After successfully catching and releasing all the fish, we hope that the people who played this project will remember and be able to differentiate which fish to catch.
Safe From Shock
Every year, earthquakes claim the lives of approximately 60,000 people, frequently as a result of inadequate preparation. Traditional drills are effective at training big groups, but they can come across as monotonous and uninteresting. Using PictoBlox and Arduino, we created an AI-powered earthquake simulator to improve earthquake education, producing a realistic and engaging learning environment.
AI is used in this simulator to identify player motions and make sure they react appropriately in the event of an earthquake. The experience is made more realistic and engaging by simulating earthquakes with a little model equipped with servo motors. Users must actively respond to the simulation, strengthening their comprehension through real-time testing and feedback, as opposed to passively learning safety protocols. Additionally, it enables customizable scenarios, which increases readiness for a range of earthquake intensities by adapting training to diverse environments and skill levels.
Even though it might not be as effective as conventional drills at training big groups of people at once, it provides more individualized learning and deeper engagement, guaranteeing that users actually retain replies that could save lives. This project creates a connection between technology and disaster preparedness by fusing physical seismic effects with AI-driven interactivity, offering a creative and useful teaching tool. Through interactive learning and training experiences that are adaptable for all age groups, this simulator can greatly increase earthquake preparation when used in conjunction with traditional exercises, potentially saving more lives.
