IEEE Sudan
IEEE is the world’s largest professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a global community through its highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities. IEEE is the trusted “voice” for engineering, computing and technology information around the globe.
IEEE SUDAN was established in 2011 by the current chair PROF.Sharif F.Babikir and other 12 professional members Since its founding it was able to maintain a community of researchers , engineers and enterpeneurs . Since then , IEEE Sudan expanded into eight student branches : University of Khartoum, Sudan University of Science and Technology, Alnelein University, Alzaeim Alazhari University, Almashreq University, Algezira University, University of Medical Science and Technology and Jordanian Sudanese College.
Al Neelain University – Faculty of Enginerring
Al Neelain University is a public university located in Khartoum, Sudan. It was founded in 1993. In 2012, the university had 18 faculties with a total enrollment of 47365, making it the second biggest university in Sudan. The university is a member of the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World.
