Beetle in the Maze

Overview

In this session, you’ll be learning about controlling the sprites to develop a Game. The concept behind this session is to solidify knowledge about the Control palette and to know each block related to it. In this activity, we want the Beetle to carefully get to the Apple crossing the Maze without touching black boundaries. Game Designing with Block-Based Programming

Game design is the art of applying design and aesthetics to create a game for entertainment or for educational, exercise, or experimental purposes. Increasingly, elements and principles of game design are also applied to other interactions, in the form of gamification. Rather than having to write complex lines of computer code, with block coding, you can use visual instruction blocks to create games or moving animations – it uses a simple drag-and-drop interface (shown in the gif below).
